Job Summary

Complete mechanical repair, overhaul, and maintenance of compressed air equipment and associated products. Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment, perform scheduled maintenance (including filters, oil, coolers, and motor greasing), and provide technical assistance to customers. Maintain accurate service records and complete reports and permits while adhering to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and clean work practices. Travel within Australia and internationally as required.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose problems in air compressors and generators using electrical/mechanical fault finding and diagnostic equipment, then perform repairs to restore functionality.
•Conduct scheduled maintenance on air compressors and generators, including inspecting components, cleaning, lubricating, replacing filter kits, changing oil, cleaning oil and air coolers, and re-greasing motors.
•Provide technical assistance to customers on troubleshooting, maintenance procedures, and usage to optimize equipment performance and lifespan.
•Maintain accurate records of service activities (diagnoses, repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used) and complete service reports and work permits.
•Follow safety protocols and regulations, complete JSA, use PPE, isolate machines using locks and tags, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Previous experience in a maintenance field service environment.
•Commitment to workplace safety, including completing Job Hazard Analysis (JSA) and following safety procedures.
•Australian Manual Drivers Licence ("C" class driver’s license).
•Experience with pneumatic equipment and fault finding in compressed air equipment.
•Excellent customer service ability and ability to work as a team in a busy environment.
