Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead manage and control mid-to-large structural projects from concept to handover, ensuring delivery on quality, time, and budget.
  • •Control commercial, managerial, and technical aspects of responsible projects or parts thereof.
  • •Source opportunities and prepare fee proposals for client submission, including resources and programme.
  • •Lead a team of engineers and technicians designing building infrastructure schemes and supervise their work to technical standards, programme, and budget.
  • •Undertake structural engineering work including analyses and calculations, deliver value-engineering expertise, and ensure quality, environmental, and sustainability aspects are addressed.

Key Requirements

  • •Passion for helping clients solve engineering challenges, with experience dealing directly with clients.
  • •Extensive structural engineering experience as a project leader, including design drawings and calculations, specification writing, and compiling technical reports.
  • •Proven structural engineering track record across multiple sectors (e.g., Defence, Justice, Education, Commercial, Healthcare).
  • •Knowledge of governing structural design standards including Eurocodes, BS, and Building Regulations.
  • •Must be a Chartered Engineer and able to see conceptual designs through to completion while delivering sustainable designs.
