Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver concrete to job sites safely and efficiently, obeying laws and following dispatch instructions.
  • •Maintain communication with the dispatcher or plant manager regarding deliveries; check and complete delivery tickets with special instructions.
  • •Frequently climb a ladder to ensure materials are loaded safely, handle mixer chutes safely, and add admixtures to the drum when necessary.
  • •Maintain truck cleanliness, including rinsing the drum before and after deliveries.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance/repair issues; collect money and record customer transactions when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of a valid Class B CDL.
