Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee production at Kincaid Power Station to ensure safe, environmentally responsible, reliable, efficient, and economical electricity generation.
  • •Ensure the station operates within local, company, state, and federal regulations and policies.
  • •Provide general leadership and administrative duties, including employee performance assessment/counseling, safety, and training.
  • •Lead implementation of policies, procedures, and work methods for Control Room Operators and other assigned personnel.
  • •Coordinate Operations activities with other station departments and set/communicate performance and professionalism standards while working a rotating shift.

Key Requirements

  • •High School diploma or GED required.
  • •5+ years advanced knowledge of fossil fuel power station operations.
  • •Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • •Ability to work extended hours and varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • •Ability to frequently climb stairs and work from elevated platforms and walkways (75+ feet) and possess a valid driver’s license.
