Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and HSE activities.
  • •Translate business requirements and demand plans into plant production and resource plans to achieve output, quality, cost, productivity, service, and delivery targets.
  • •Ensure compliance with Sika HSE standards and applicable legal/environmental requirements, including risk assessments, emergency arrangements, training, and preventive controls.
  • •Ensure products meet Sika quality standards and specifications, working with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns, complaints, and root-cause corrective/preventive actions.
  • •Lead people development across plant departments and drive continuous improvement initiatives using methods like 5S, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or another relevant Engineering discipline.
  • •8–12 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including 3–5 years in plant/production management or comparable operational leadership.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing a manufacturing plant or a large, complex production operation, including production, maintenance, quality, and HSE leadership.
  • •Practical experience with budgeting, cost control, capital expenditure, workforce planning, and plant performance management.
  • •Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or structured problem-solving techniques is preferred.
