Job Summary

Build and launch the Deal Desk function from scratch with an AI- and automation-first approach: intake, approvals, pricing guardrails, and quote automation. Advise Sales on deal structure and pricing to protect margin, maintain discount/pricing rules, and run deal war rooms to improve velocity. Own Salesforce data quality, contract hygiene, and coordinate compliance requests across Sales, Security, and Legal.

Key Responsibilities

•Build n8n’s Deal Desk function from scratch with AI- and automation-first intake, approvals, and pricing guardrails.
•Advise Sales on deal structure and pricing; maintain discount and pricing rules that Sales can apply without escalation.
•Run monthly and quarterly deal war rooms to keep deal velocity high, especially around month/quarter end.
•Handle contract redlines and non-standard terms; build a redline clause library for AI-suggested fallback terms.
•Automate approvals and quoting in CPQ; triage requests with AI, own Salesforce data quality and executed-contract hygiene, and coordinate security/compliance requests.

Key Requirements

•In-depth experience developing and operating a deal desk function, not just executing a predesigned process.
•Strong SaaS commercial fluency, including SaaS pricing models, revenue recognition, and ARR reporting principles.
•Ability to negotiate and redline order-form-level terms and know when to involve Legal.
•Hands-on experience configuring and operating both CPQ and Salesforce.
•AI-native working style and experience automating deal or approval workflows; strong stakeholder management.
