Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for substation components and equipment specification support for procurement packages and pricing.
  • •Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements including single line/three line/wiring diagrams, substation layout and bus arrangement, grounding grid design, and lightning protection.
  • •Support routine engineering functions such as equipment sizing, cabling, AC/DC panel design, and conduit and trenching strategies for safety and functionality.
  • •Under close supervision, assist with developing electrical calculations for loads, feeder sizing, voltage drop, grounding, lighting circuits and controls, and power distribution.
  • •Generate accurate documentation using electronic systems and drawings and comply with safety guidelines, site-specific procedures, and training requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Some relevant post-education experience in field services, maintenance, construction, or a similar environment.
