Job Summary

Support the planning and execution of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) by coordinating event budgets, logistics, and stakeholder activities. Help align DSF plans with DET and DFRE goals, draft RFPs/RFIs, manage supplier and contract processes, and maintain detailed event documentation for audits. Serve as a primary contact for DSF stakeholders, monitor performance and satisfaction feedback, and ensure compliance with DET policies, regulations, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in developing and managing DSF event plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and milestone-based timelines.
•Support DSF budget creation and financial management controls, including metrics for spending and performance.
•Coordinate DSF events within the DFRE calendar and help resolve planning/execution issues.
•Manage on-ground event/project delivery by coordinating internal and external stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
•Support procurement/RFPs and supplier selection, oversee contract processes, and ensure compliance with DET policies, regulations, and safety protocols.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related fields.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in event management focused on retail and large-scale public events.
•Proven experience managing and executing large-scale festivals or retail events, preferably in a similar market.
•Experience with budget management, resource allocation, and measuring spending/performance against event plans.
•Strong stakeholder management experience, including government bodies, sponsors, vendors, and partners, plus RFP/RFI and contract management experience.
