Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical input into electrical design deliverables for complex multi-disciplinary water/wastewater projects and coordinate with project management on time and budgets to milestones.
  • •Prepare increasingly complex engineering deliverables and calculations, including equipment/material recommendations and electrical calculations and sizing.
  • •Lead delivery production of technical outputs such as Single Line Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams, Load Schedules, MCC specifications, Control Philosophies, and Control Network Architecture.
  • •Perform design basis and electrical system studies including load list, cable schedule, interconnection schedule, schematics, bulk MTO, and equipment sizing (transformers, generators, HV/LV cables, AC UPS, capacitor banks).
  • •Support bid proposals, coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, and ensure design quality through check/review while leading teams following relevant design standards and codes.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E./M.Tech. (preferred) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • •10 to 16 years of experience in wastewater/water industry.
  • •Design Electrical Distribution Systems (Low Voltage and High Voltage) including concept, FEED, and detail design.
  • •Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment process and related engineering works such as pumping stations and desalination.
  • •Hands-on experience with system studies software (ETAP, SKM, Amtech) and ability to run load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protection relay setting studies.
