Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute the Payments Platform vision, owning strategy, architecture, and roadmap across payment processing, routing, settlement, reconciliation, and partner integrations.
  • •Lead and grow the engineering organization by managing, coaching, and developing Engineering Managers and senior technical talent across multiple squads.
  • •Drive technical architecture and platform excellence, setting standards for reliability, observability, security, scalability, and developer productivity.
  • •Deliver with speed and operational rigor by setting OKRs, managing concurrent initiatives, and holding teams accountable for high-quality outcomes.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, and regional engineering leaders to align platform capabilities with growth, customer experience, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
  • •Demonstrated people management experience, including managing Engineering Managers/Leads and scaling high-performing teams.
  • •Strong product thinking and ability to partner with Product Management on roadmaps, prioritization, and business outcomes.
  • •Deep fluency in software architecture and system design for large-scale distributed systems.
  • •Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, or similarly regulated industries emphasizing correctness and data integrity.
