Key Responsibilities

  • •Own discovery for your product area: identify unmet needs, and turn insights into a clear point of view on what to build
  • •Prototype new features and ideas yourself using AI-assisted tools like Claude, Cursor, or similar
  • •Ship things. Take ideas from concept to something real users are interacting with
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate domain expertise into product development
  • •Iterate quickly from concept to prototype based on user feedback and data

Key Requirements

  • •Background in biology, life sciences, or a related research field
  • •Genuine familiarity with BioRender—you've used it, you have opinions about it
  • •Comfort with AI coding tools; you’ve built a product that people use and have collaborated with others via Github
  • •Something you've built: a script, a tool, a side project, or a vibe-coded experiment that actually worked
  • •Curiosity, scrappiness, and the ability to move from idea to prototype quickly
