Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, support, and coordinate animal behavior and husbandry requirements for an assigned habitat area at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.
  • •Develop and maintain safety protocols for guests, colleagues, and animals.
  • •Develop behavior and enrichment plans and oversee the care and maintenance of guest-facing displays and quarantine facilities.
  • •Monitor colleague training and development, evaluate competency, ensure required certifications are acquired, and manage team schedules and task assignments.
  • •Maintain high standards of animal welfare and behavior aligned with zoo/aquarium accreditation standards, and support budgets and exhibit planning for expansions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education and experience) related to the zoological field, including animal behavior or natural sciences.
  • •7 years of animal husbandry and behavioral experience in a zoological facility.
  • •3 years of experience in a zoological leadership position.
  • •3 years of professional experience working with marine mammals.
  • •Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with excellent verbal and written English communication.
