Key Responsibilities

  • •Schedule, plan, and implement maintenance, service, and repair activities for wind turbine equipment as part of a team and with contractors.
  • •Support daily through three-month operations and maintenance planning aligned to the Supervisor’s business plan to drive operational performance and results.
  • •Support the Supervisor and regional Manager as part of a high-performance team to achieve plant outcomes.
  • •Identify and mitigate risks that could negatively impact outcomes or business results, and identify opportunities to improve outcomes or results.
  • •Ensure operational compliance to EHS, NERC, OHS, and plant availability/cost standards through adherence to procedures, policies, and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate certification or education in a related discipline, and/or tangible experience and skills.
  • •Electrical or mechanical background is considered a strong asset.
  • •Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within own discipline, including operational aspects of the plant (technical, compliance, and financial).
  • •Understanding of plant risk and mitigation strategies, and contractor/coordination requirements to meet objectives.
