Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect distributed payment systems at global scale, designing and evolving core infrastructure across real-time local clearing, SWIFT, and proprietary treasury routing in 150+ countries.
  • •Solve hard financial integrity problems by building idempotent, fault-tolerant systems handling multi-currency reconciliation, async settlement, and compensation with unreliable banking partners.
  • •Own reliability and observability of the payment network by defining SLAs, enabling graceful degradation, and building the real-time payment health observability layer.
  • •Use data to drive platform decisions by leveraging payment telemetry to optimize routing, identify bottlenecks, and measure impact on settlement speed and conversion.
  • •Contribute to technical direction across a global team by leading design reviews and RFC processes across US, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
