Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement RAG backend capabilities including retrieval, re-ranking, context construction, prompt orchestration, response aggregation, Graph RAG patterns, and agentic search.
  • •Build ingestion and indexing pipelines for multi-modal/multi-type data (documents, emails, wikis, images, tables, logs, structured sources) including extraction/OCR, chunking, enrichment, embeddings, and incremental re-indexing with rollback.
  • •Optimize retrieval, ranking, and graph reasoning using hybrid retrieval, multi-stage recall, reranking, deduplication/diversity controls, and graph-based retrieval strategies.
  • •Implement grounded answer generation workflows with explicit support (citations, evidence snippets, and source metadata), including confidence signals and refusal/insufficient-evidence handling with traceable outputs.
  • •Ensure security and compliance across retrieval and generation flows (access controls, data classification/masking, audit logging, encryption, secrets management) and support data governance, lineage, quality evaluation, and cross-team collaboration.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI) or Go.
  • •Solid understanding of RAG components and patterns (chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, context window management, citations/attribution, evaluation).
  • •Hands-on experience with containerisation and cloud-native engineering (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) and production troubleshooting/performance tuning.
  • •Strong communication and collaboration skills, delivering under security, compliance, performance, and cost constraints.
