Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the purchasing strategy for the department and align with company objectives (costs, quality, volume); build partnerships with suppliers for long-term collaboration; establish and monitor strategic purchasing plans for key categories; drive CSR initiatives (supply chain traceability, decarbonization, eco-design).
  • •Lead complex and strategic negotiations (annual price reviews and supplier selection during calls for proposals); manage complete negotiations for strategic product families; ensure contract formation and execution with suppliers with legal department support.
  • •Manage supplier panel, sourcing, and evaluation; conduct supplier visits/audits; oversee supplier onboarding; monitor supplier performance with quantitative/qualitative indicators and implement improvement plans.
  • •Oversee operational purchasing for direct production; ensure catalogue purchasing process, update procedures, issue RFQs for pilot projects; organize multi-disciplinary award committees; ensure formalized contract awards; coordinate with R&D, packaging development, quality, and supply chain during product industrialization.
  • •Prepare purchasing budgets and report to Purchasing leadership; liaise with business units to integrate purchasing and suppliers; contribute to procurement system implementations and e-sourcing/e-procurement projects; act as product expert during bid responses and commercial pitches.

Key Requirements

  • •Master 5 (Bac +5) with specialization in Purchases
  • •5 to 10 years of experience in purchasing, ideally cosmetics
  • •Experience in people management is a plus
  • •Expertise in negotiation, cost decomposition, strategic sourcing and supplier management
  • •Professional level English (Anglais professionnel indispensable)
