Job Summary

Lead the Environmental, Wastewater Treatment, Offal Facility and Water Plant operations; supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation, and drive safety across the facility. You’ll coordinate permits, testing, training, and reporting to regulators while maintaining environmental protection systems and ensuring compliance with EPA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee the Wastewater Department, including operations, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
•Supervise Wastewater personnel and coordinate staff training to maintain industry standards.
•Perform tests and monitoring to ensure water treatment meets regulatory requirements and company policies.
•Maintain accurate records, ensure documentation is up to date, and submit samples as required.
•Ensure safety, housekeeping, and environmental permits are maintained; communicate with regulators on permitting and non-compliance issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or similar field preferred; minimum 5 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience (year-for-year accepted in lieu of education).
•Minimum Class III Waste Water License or ability to obtain an appropriate State Certified license.
•Proven management skills with experience supervising Wastewater personnel and coordinating staff training.
•Experience gathering and submitting samples and maintaining accurate records per EPA regulations.
•Strong knowledge of environmental permits, regulatory compliance, and communication with regulators.
