Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Site HSSE Manager.
  • •Oversee construction safety, security, health, and environmental performance during construction and commissioning phases.
  • •Establish an effective HSSE system in line with legal and other requirements (ISO, Wood, and Client).
  • •Ensure contractors’ supervision and manpower comply with HSSE policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Develop and deliver HSSE training and manage contractor and workforce competency assurance using the project HSSE training matrix.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or certification as a Professional Safety Officer by the Ministry of Labour.
  • •Minimum 8 years of substantial experience in an HSSE role in live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work for oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant, or similar plants.
  • •Extensive experience applying worksite HSSE plans, procedures, and standards requirements for construction sites.
  • •Strong knowledge of preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements, job safety analysis, and permit to work systems.
  • •Good knowledge of Thai HSSE-related laws and legislation, with fair to good English communication skills (verbal and written).
