Job Summary

Own commercial legal work that enables partner ecosystem growth, drafting and negotiating enterprise and mid-market subscription agreements, order forms, and partner/channel agreements. Serve as a trusted advisor to Partner, Sales, Deal Operations, and Finance teams, structuring deals with appropriate risk assessment and refining contracting templates for scale. Partner across Product, Engineering, Security, Privacy, and Finance to answer legal and commercial questions while supporting fast, business-oriented decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a primary legal resource for commercial transactions across the customer lifecycle.
•Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise and mid-market subscription agreements and order forms on both Postman and counterparty paper.
•Work with Sales, Deal Operations, and Finance to structure deals that protect Postman while keeping business momentum.
•Own legal workstreams for partner programs and strategic alliances, including channel/reseller and marketplace agreements.
•Manage a high-velocity deal pipeline and refine contract templates and self-serve resources to scale without bottlenecks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
•5-8 years of legal experience supporting B2B enterprise and mid-market SaaS commercial transactions, ideally in-house at a technology company.
•Direct experience drafting and negotiating partner and channel agreements, including reseller, marketplace distribution, distributor and referral models, and technology integrations.
•Comfortable working with Sales and Partnerships teams and translating business objectives into contract terms.
•Clear communicator who works independently and uses strong judgment on when to escalate decisions.
