Job Summary

Operate and control an asphalt roller machine to compact earth, subgrade, and sub-base asphalt surfaces during highway and street construction. Safely and efficiently smooth material from the paver to the required depths while achieving desired compaction and smoothness. Apply expertise in paving preparation, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, specifications, oil consistencies, and other asphalt paving details. Perform minor servicing and maintenance or escalate major issues to a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

•Control and operate the asphalt roller machine for compaction of earth, subgrade, and sub-base asphalt surfaces.
