Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain the facility and repair manufacturing equipment in a safe environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •Execute maintenance and repair work tied to CMMS work orders, including repairing line equipment (mixers, grinders, slicers, labelers, and similar machinery).
  • •Pre-check, set up equipment, and perform related tasks including cutting, welding, and electrical work.
  • •Perform routine inspections across the facility (e.g., fire extinguishers and sprinklers, eyewash/showers, emergency lighting, access door alarms, and rail inspections).
  • •Carry out repairs and replacements such as lighting repairs, copper pipe soldering and pipe threading, and repairs to toilets, sinks, and water heaters.

Salary: USD 30.53 - 42.33 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years hands-on industrial maintenance mechanic experience, including electrical, conveyor, controls, ac/dc, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • •Basic math skills and computer skills.
  • •Ability to read and comprehend product specifications sheets and assess equipment using mechanical knowledge.
  • •Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • •Willingness and ability to meet physical requirements (lifting 40–60 pounds repeatedly, walking/standing on cement for the shift, tolerating 35°F or below).
