Manager & Counsel

Provide independent, trusted legal counsel within American Express’ General Counsel Organization for business units across jurisdictions. You will draft, review, analyze, and negotiate commercial agreements, manage legal risk, coordinate with compliance/risk/finance stakeholders, and liaise with outside counsel. You’ll also lead and supervise direct reports, improve legal knowledge sharing and processes, support governance/approvals, and deliver internal training workshops.
