Key Responsibilities

  • •Utilise CVD synthesis reactors and analytical equipment to synthesise, characterise and process diamond materials.
  • •Develop and apply techniques to enhance manufacturing capabilities such as polishing and shaping.
  • •Design and execute work packages, analysing data to guide onward innovation.
  • •Invent and patent new CVD growth and processing methods for novel diamond products and solutions.
  • •Develop value-add processes (treatments, brazing, metallization, ion implantation, mounting) and collaborate with partners on testing and applications.

Key Requirements

  • •Undegraduate degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a relevant Engineering subject.
  • •Ability to complete practical laboratory work safely and systematically with attention to detail.
