Key Responsibilities

  • •Underwrite, analyze, and generate new and renewal Large Casualty business.
  • •Manage market-facing production and underwriting within the Large Casualty, National Accounts division.
  • •Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manual rules.
  • •Develop and maintain broker relationships across the Southern California territory.
  • •Evaluate, price, and negotiate highly complex large-scale commercial insurance risks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,200 - 249,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience level aligned to either Executive Underwriter (5+ years underwriting/market facing or 10+ years claims/underwriting support; or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree plus 3+ or 8+ years in those areas).
  • •Experience level aligned to either AVP, Underwriting Director (7+ years underwriting/market facing or 14+ years claims/underwriting support; or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree plus 5+ or 12+ years in those areas).
  • •Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • •Ability to work on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
  • •Experience working in a team environment and building broker/client relationships.
