Job Summary

Design and integrate software for autonomous platforms and mission payloads, including stores management systems, networked devices, and hardware interfaces. Key Responsibilities

•Develop networked software that interacts with networking devices and router/switch hardware.
•Integrate payload subsystems and stores management systems (SMS) to coordinate release and control of mission payloads.
•Architect and implement APIs and ICDs using HTTP/REST and gRPC to connect distributed systems across vehicles, payloads, and ground stations.
•Build and optimize low-level data transport over UDP/TCP for reliable, low-latency communication in constrained environments.
•Interface directly with hardware by bridging embedded devices, sensors, and payload electronics with autonomy software; collaborate with teams and support real-world deployment and debugging.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
•5+ years of production-grade software development using C++ and/or Rust.
•Experience building software that interacts with networking devices, managed networks, and common router/switch hardware.
•Experience designing and implementing software APIs and ICDs using HTTP, REST, and gRPC.
•Solid understanding of low-level data transport layers, including UDP and TCP, plus experience interfacing software with embedded devices, sensors, or payload electronics.
