Key Responsibilities

  • •Own day-to-day operation of the privacy compliance program: set priorities, establish and track program metrics/KPIs, and report on health, risks, and maturity.
  • •Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of core privacy program components including data subject rights, data inventory/ROPA, records of processing, and privacy-by-design.
  • •Develop privacy review processes across the full data and product lifecycle, from ideation to end of life, and improve risk assessments.
  • •Draft and update form agreements and advise/negotiates data protection provisions in commercial contracts, including DPAs, SCCs, and data-transfer instruments.
  • •Monitor and evaluate global privacy and AI regulatory developments; support regulator inquiries, audits, enforcement developments, and incident response advice as part of breach assessment and remediation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 207,600 - 302,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of relevant legal experience at a top law firm and/or in-house, with 5+ years focused on privacy and experience building, operating, or leading a privacy compliance program.
  • •Deep, current knowledge of global privacy frameworks including GDPR/UK GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, plus cross-border data transfer mechanisms (e.g., SCCs, IDTA, adequacy, EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
  • •Working knowledge of privacy program operational building blocks such as DPIAs/PIAs, ROPA/data mapping, data subject rights processes, privacy by design, and vendor/third-party risk management.
  • •Deep understanding of cloud and software technology, with a strong desire to work on legal issues in these areas.
  • •J.D. from a top-tier law school and state bar membership in good standing.
