Key Responsibilities

  • •Use 3D CAD tools to resolve design details/discrepancies and prepare precise drawings.
  • •Provide technical design assistance that ensures correct illustration, fit/form/function, and compliance with design standards and code requirements.
  • •Act as consultant on work progress and problem resolution; may serve as primary Drafting/Design Support resource.
  • •Monitor drafting/design plans for quality control and contract compliance; coordinate with engineers, clients, and contractors and provide guidance/training to entry-level staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a closely related discipline or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
  • •10+ years of post-education design/drafting experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • •3D modeling design experience using Hexagon CADWorx or Hexagon Smartplant.
  • •Coordination model experience with Navisworks.
  • •Knowledge of process piping design standards and specifications, codes/regulations, and QA/QC practices.
