Job Summary

Lead and develop a team responsible for evaluating and optimizing the sound quality and performance of hearing solutions. Drive sound quality engineering activities from roadmap translation through development, verification, and optimization of new hearing functions and technologies. Partner with cross-functional experts across signal processing, audiology, software engineering, and verification to make evidence-based decisions and deliver outstanding end-user hearing experiences.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop a team of sound quality engineers, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous development.
•Lead sound quality engineering activities for hearing solutions to ensure excellent end-user benefit and hearing experiences.
•Translate strategic roadmaps into clear priorities and actionable objectives for the team.
•Guide development, verification, and optimization of new hearing functions and technologies with cross-functional engineering teams.
•Drive evidence-based decisions using technical evaluations, performance measurements, and user-focused validation.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, Biomedical Engineering, or a comparable technical/scientific discipline.
•At least 5 years of professional experience in engineering, acoustics, signal processing, or a comparable R&D environment.
•Demonstrated leadership experience, such as leading projects, technical workstreams, or serving as a (deputy) team lead.
•Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing a broad range of technical stakeholders.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategic direction into practical execution.
