Key Responsibilities

  • •Use proprietary software to provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs for multilingual audio projects.
  • •Translate and localize text strings (UI copy, prompts, responses, and written content) from English to Yoruba with linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • •Deliver high-quality curated audio data that supports clear, natural spoken output and accurate representation of linguistic/prosodic details.
  • •Collaborate with technical staff to develop tasks improving AI handling of speech modulation, accent variation, and real-world recording noise.
  • •Improve annotation tools and workflows to enable efficient audio annotation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35 - 45 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Native proficiency in Yoruba, with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
  • •Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) with clear, natural vocal delivery and pronunciation for audio recording.
  • •Strong auditory perception to identify speech nuances including accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality.
  • •Ability to handle multilingual audio content, including evaluating speech accuracy and contextual/cultural vocal expressions.
