Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as legal partner to sales and procurement across the Rigids EMEA business group; draft, review, negotiate, and administer complex sales and procurement agreements.
  • •Develop and improve sales/procurement legal handbooks, forms, training materials, and processes; deliver commercial law training to sales and procurement teams.
  • •Lead or support litigation and pre-litigation strategy for commercial matters and negotiate settlements as needed.
  • •Provide broader corporate/commercial legal support, including dispute resolution and support for special projects.
  • •Support M&A execution, due diligence, and integration as needed; identify legal risks and partner with Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence and ethics governance.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree with qualification to practice law in a European Economic Area country (preferably UK, Germany, France, or Italy).
  • •Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in legal practice focused on commercial law.
  • •Deep expertise drafting and negotiating high-value sales and procurement agreements, including risk allocation, service levels, and long-term sourcing.
  • •Proven capability in claim handling and litigation management, including resolving disputes via negotiation and formal legal proceedings/arbitration.
  • •Track record from an international law firm (private practice) supported by in-house experience partnering with business stakeholders.
