Job Summary

Lead Electrical Engineer role in Atlanta leading multi-site electrical design and project management for utility, industrial, and commercial facilities. You’ll oversee design of primary and emergency power, fire/life safety, lighting, and control systems, mentor junior engineers, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, and ensure regulatory compliance and safety across projects in health, labs, education, and industry.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop drawings and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners within multi-discipline project teams.
•Project management of cross-functional teams of engineers including budgets, tracking hours and expenses, task completion, permit applications, construction documentation, and regulatory and technical analysis memos.
•Coordinate design activities with other multi-discipline project team members.
•Design of primary electrical power and emergency power systems.
•Construction administration phase services.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
•7+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical design for industrial/pharmaceutical, laboratories, commercial, institutional/higher education, healthcare, or similar facilities.
•Professional Engineering license is required.
•Proficiency in Revit, electrical system studies (SKM, EasyPower, ETAP), photometric studies (AGI32), math principles, predictive models and spreadsheets.
•Experience with electrical planning, design, and construction management including rehabilitation, renovation, new design, and construction projects.
