Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and account for leases in compliance with ASC 842 (US GAAP).
  • •Review lease contracts and abstracts, determining lease classification, discount rates, and lease terms.
  • •Record right-of-use (ROU) assets, lease liabilities, amortization, and interest expense.
  • •Process lease modifications, renewals, terminations, and impairments, and ensure reports are completed on time and accurately reflect financial position.
  • •Reconcile complex accounts, prepare financial reports for senior management, provide technical accounting advice, and coach less-experienced accountants.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field.
  • •4+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • •Strong knowledge of ASC 842 and US GAAP.
  • •CPA certification or CPA exam eligible.
  • •Experience with finance and lease accounting ERP systems.
