Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and maintain ground support equipment for booster lifting and transit operations.
  • •Perform high-pressure operations on powered and unpowered boosters.
  • •Execute large-scale, critical lifts involving flight hardware.
  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics or drawings.
  • •Support coordinated launch vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations, including dockside recovery vessel maintenance as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •1+ years of hands-on experience in assembly, testing, maintenance, repair, or installation, or a certificate from an accredited trade skills program, or experience at a SpaceX site in a manufacturing, maintenance, testing, or materials management function.
  • •Ability to work all shift times, overtime, and weekends as needed, including scheduled day/night start-time ranges.
  • •Ability to lift to 35 lbs. unassisted and perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, bending, grasping, pulling, pushing, and working outdoors and at elevated heights (up to 300 feet).
  • •Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Vandenberg Space Force Base.
