Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, and implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP solutions for enterprise customers, from analysis and roadmap through transition and operations.
  • •Design sensitivity label and data classification concepts (manual and automated), including encryption and key management (RMS templates, BYOK/DKE, OME) and audit log retention.
  • •Set up risk-based DLP lifecycles with policies, rules, operating processes, and incident response; integrate with Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • •Capture privacy and data-protection requirements and drive governance/program workstreams including business case, taxonomy, ownership/governance models, and rollout roadmaps.
  • •Develop and introduce Insider Risk approaches and eDiscovery processes in the Microsoft Purview context; lead workstreams, moderate workshops, and present results up to C-level.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP (3–4 years for Consultant; 7+ years for Senior/Architect) in Microsoft Security/Compliance projects.
  • •Conception and implementation of Sensitivity Labels and data classification (manual and automated), including encryption, RMS templates, BYOK/DKE, OME, and audit log retention.
  • •Build risk-based DLP lifecycles (policies, rules, operating processes) including incident response and integration with Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • •Understanding of AI opportunities and risks in data privacy and data security (e.g., data security posture and AI-supported classification).
  • •Relevant degree/studies (e.g., (Business) Informatics); nice-to-have industry certifications such as SC-400/SC-100/ MS-900/AZ-900, CIPP, CISSP, or CCSP.
