Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain plant machinery and systems (pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors) through regular checks and quick troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • •Maintain a clean and safe facility including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, painting, cleaning, and grounds maintenance (mowing and snow removal).
  • •Follow LOCKOUT/TAGOUT, GMPs, and safety protocols; conduct safety checks and maintain compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
  • •Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to solve problems, participate in training, and communicate across departments for smooth operations.
  • •Support new equipment installations and special projects; organize tools, parts, and supplies and assist with product transport across the plant.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance, or 4 years of direct experience in an equivalent environment.
  • •Vocational/technical diploma or an associate degree in technical maintenance or from a vocational school (preferred).
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and read/execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
