Job Summary

Own solution architectures across the full lifecycle, engaging clients from proposal through in-service realization. Lead architecture development with design peers, retain overall technical ownership, and ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met. Manage solution and technical risks, support engineering execution, and drive early design/estimation to inform business-winning. Leverage cloud and networking expertise to conceive secure solutions and transfer mature FVEY capability to Australia.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage clients across the full solution lifecycle from proposal to in-service realization.
•Define and lead the development of solution architectures in collaboration with design team members.
•Retain overall ownership of solutions through delivery and transition into operation.
•Own and manage technical and solution risks to reduce and mitigate them early.
•Lead early design and estimation efforts to inform solution costs and delivery timescales in support of business winning.

Key Requirements

•10+ years hands-on in networking, engineering and/or software development and 5+ years architecture/design experience.
•Deep knowledge and experience with cloud technology, including complex application and data migration to cloud platforms (Azure and AWS).
•Experience working within and across security domains and with Government systems and senior stakeholders.
•Ability to advise clients and teams during delivery on complex solutions, leading and influencing analysts, developers, and engineers.
•Familiarity with architectural frameworks and modelling (e.g., TOGAF, Zachmann) and experience contributing to tender responses and pre-sales activities.
