Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the multi-year category strategy for your cluster, including sourcing model, supplier segmentation, risk posture, and cost ambition.
  • •Lead supplier relationship stewardship and tender processes end-to-end, including award, contract, and supplier briefing.
  • •Take commercial accountability for cost performance, savings targets, and COGS variance, driving data-first category reviews and performance assessments.
  • •Own NID (New Ingredient Development) governance for your cluster with robust cross-functional coordination across Procurement, Product, FSQA, and Supply Chain.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop Category Managers, managing capacity planning, workload prioritization, performance calibration, and succession thinking.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years in strategic procurement, supply chain, or a closely related commercial discipline, ideally in FMCG or food ingredients.
  • •Track record building strategic supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, partnership governance, and managing through disruption.
  • •Experience setting and executing category strategy across a meaningful portfolio, ideally managing a cluster of subcategories or a team.
  • •Proven ability to lead and develop others, whether as a formal team lead or via mentoring and cross-functional leadership.
  • •Ability to connect day-to-day procurement decisions to long-term commercial and supply chain vision, communicating clearly to senior stakeholders.
