Job Summary

Maintain and repair heavy equipment at customer sites and our rental fleet, using on-board tech to manage work orders, diagnosing issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems, and traveling to job sites as needed. You’ll train junior technicians, document work, and ensure safety and OSHA awareness while supporting a fast-paced, hands-on maintenance team in Topeka, KS.

Key Responsibilities

•Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues using data from hundreds of makes and models.
•Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
•Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools with independent judgment.
•Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
•Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner daily.

Key Requirements

•Must own tools applicable to position
•Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
•Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
•High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
•Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
•Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
