Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and operate live and/or recorded television productions in a bilingual environment using Ross Overdrive automated production control.
  • •Code and execute newscasts using production automation, including building master rundown patterns for all broadcasts.
  • •Collaborate with editorial and production personnel from concept through final production.
  • •Ensure broadcast creative and technical execution by shaping on-air appearance and managing timing cues to talent and technicians.
  • •Troubleshoot operational issues, operate automated graphics/audio/camera control/clip playback servers, and submit end-of-show reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of relevant experience directing and operating local news TD/Directing in a medium to large market, with expertise in Ross Overdrive Production Automation or similar systems.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, journalism, engineering, radio/television & film, operations, media production, or equivalent experience.
  • •Ability to work any shift in a 24x7 schedule, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility for schedule changes.
  • •Must be able to work onsite at the production center in Fort Worth, Texas.
  • •Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
