Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute Japan’s long-term GTM strategy to transform market entry into sustainable, high-velocity enterprise ARR growth.
  • •Recruit, mentor, and develop a world-class team with a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and customer-first selling.
  • •Deepen strategic partnerships with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and GSIs to drive enterprise modernization deals.
  • •Drive consumption excellence across the Atlas portfolio by securing deep technical adoption and healthy product usage beyond initial bookings.
  • •Run a unified cross-functional GTM motion across Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services while providing Japanese customer feedback to Product and Engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •20+ years of progressively senior experience in B2B software, cloud, or data platforms, focused on enterprise GTM.
  • •Bilingual proficiency in Japanese/English for executive communication and cross-functional leadership.
  • •Deep expertise in developer-led/open source/product-led growth (PLG) motions, including engaging developers before enterprise modernization deals.
  • •Proven track record building from the ground up or scaling a large Japan division, including experience with consumption-based business models.
  • •Strong command of modern sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, with evidence of implementation at scale.
