Job Summary

Originate residential first mortgage loans and drive CRA-related sales outcomes for branch offices and outside referrals. Own the end-to-end loan process from application through closing, including risk accountability and compliance with policies and procedures. Lead sales and partnership meetings, grow CRA prospect and referral networks, mentor newly hired CRA MLO colleagues, and coordinate homebuyer-training seminars while managing loan pipelines and required reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential 1st mortgage loans end-to-end from application to closing, meeting sales and cross-selling objectives.
•Sell CRA products and services targeting low-to-moderate-income individuals/areas and non-profit organizations.
•Lead internal and external sales and partnership meetings; assist CRA MLO colleagues with loan support and business development.
•Develop and maintain CRA prospect and referral contacts, participate in real estate trade association/nonprofit boards or committees, and mentor newly hired CRA MLOs.
•Complete applications using Fannie Mae Form 1003, manage loan pipelines through closing, handle documentation timelines, and provide timely updates and required management reports.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) is required; four-year college degree is preferred.
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines and residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated teamwork/customer service skills.
•Requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
