Key Responsibilities

  • •Set technical strategy, workload priorities, and operating rhythm for competitive CPU performance forecasting.
  • •Own the predict-validate-translate cycle including workload taxonomy, assumptions, forecast ranges, validation, model tuning, and business translation.
  • •Lead reviews of assumptions for CPU cores, cache/memory hierarchies, I/O, power, platform behavior, software stacks, and workload scaling.
  • •Establish review discipline to distinguish measured results, sourced assumptions, modeled inference, and uncertainty; integrate multi-ISA analyses into one decision view.
  • •Deliver concise executive readouts and partner with architecture, product, and software teams to translate evidence into feature/platform recommendations and standards for benchmarking and data governance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated senior technical leadership in CPU or system performance, computer architecture, performance modeling, or competitive benchmarking.
  • •Track record of turning low-level performance evidence into architecture, platform, or product decisions.
  • •Deep understanding of CPU pipelines, branch prediction, cache/TLB behavior, NUMA, memory bandwidth/latency, system I/O, and cross-ISA effects.
  • •Strong experimental design skills including benchmark fairness, configuration control, statistical interpretation, and reproducibility.
  • •Exceptional written and verbal communication to present risk, confidence, alternatives, and recommended actions to senior audiences.
