Key Responsibilities

•Design, deploy, and operate Akamai EAA for secure private application access across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
•Implement and manage Akamai WAF protections and Akamai DDoS protection, including tuning for performance and user experience.
•Engineer and maintain Palo Alto NGFWs (PAN-OS) with HA architectures, orchestration (Strata Manager and Panorama), and zone-based segmentation.
•Serve as technical owner for Network Detection & Response (NDR): tune detections, reduce false positives, and improve signal quality with SOC.
•Act as Tier-3 escalation point and own governance: integrate with SIEM/SOC, IAM, PKI, and ITSM workflows; manage vendor and financial control (licenses, renewals, and ROI).

Key Requirements

•7–10+ years in network and security engineering/architecture roles.
•Hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, Akamai EAA, and Akamai WAF/DDoS.
•Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW (PAN-OS) and Fortinet NDR platforms.
•Strong understanding of web security, DDoS attack vectors, OWASP Top 10, threat detection, traffic analysis, and Zero Trust/segmentation.
•Proven troubleshooting across multi-vendor, multi-layer security stacks.
