Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, maintain, and improve documentation that supports users of Palantir’s products.
  • •Edit guides drafted by a developer, write a new tutorial for a critical workflow, and identify areas for improvement and partner with a team to implement fixes.
  • •Develop an understanding of user needs and help them get the most out of our software by partnering with product development teams.
  • •Maintain style guides and best practices for writing, improving, and publishing documentation.
  • •Manage and structure multi-stakeholder documentation projects and host training sessions and workshops.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of technical writing experience or equivalent experience in software development.
  • •Outstanding writing and editing skills.
  • •Experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages; prior work in software engineering or data science is a plus.
  • •Ability to translate complex technical subjects into clear, concise prose for a variety of audiences.
  • •Experience collaborating with engineering teams during the software development process.
