Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design and delivery of internal AI agents and automation workflows using tools such as Snowflake Cortex, LangChain, and LangGraph, including planning, tool use, retrieval, and human-in-the-loop execution where appropriate.
  • •Develop reusable tools, APIs, and components that engineers can assemble into new agentic workflows, improving accuracy, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency.
  • •Establish agent evaluation, regression testing, and monitoring patterns; define reliability guardrails to reduce hallucinations, unsafe outputs, and unreliable automation behavior.
  • •Oversee design, build, and maintenance of production-grade Python applications, libraries, and services, championing object-oriented design and software engineering best practices.
  • •Hire, develop, and mentor a team of software and AI engineers; set engineering standards for agentic workflows and production automation while partnering across product, engineering, operations, and data platform teams.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software engineering experience, including leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  • •Deep hands-on experience building production-grade software using Python, including libraries, services, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
  • •Hands-on experience building applications using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, or frameworks such as Snowflake Cortex, LangChain, or LangGraph.
  • •Experience designing AI-enabled workflows, reasoning agents, tool-using agents, or complex automation systems.
  • •5+ years of experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks; strong production system design knowledge including observability, reliability, scalability, performance, and operational support.
