Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build internal tools and automations with strong UX so the design org’s tooling is usable and consistent.
  • •Engineer and maintain the agent pipeline, including MCP servers, context pipelines, and integrations connecting the design system to AI coding agents.
  • •Automate governance-as-code using CI checks, release automation, and policy enforcement in the pipeline.
  • •Own and govern the AI tool stack, including evaluating, integrating, licensing, and partnering on security/IP review and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
  • •Instrument and report impact with telemetry and dashboards for design-system and AI-tool adoption, cycle time, and quality; collaborate cross-functionally to evolve workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Around 5–8 years across design engineering, front-end, design-systems tooling, or platform/internal-tools engineering, with genuine design/UX sensibility.
  • •Good UX instincts and front-end craft, with a foundation in HTML/CSS and usable tool design.
  • •Strong engineering skills building tools and automations with TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Python, working with APIs, CI/CD, and integrations.
  • •Solid working knowledge of Figma at an organizational level, including its plugin and REST APIs.
  • •Hands-on fluency with AI tooling, with a thoughtful, responsible approach to governing it at work.
