Key Responsibilities

•Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
•Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.
•Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and enunciation; maintain professional demeanor at all times.
•Remain calm during interpreting sessions, especially in emergency situations such as 911 calls.
•Maintain punctuality and availability during work hours and follow client instructions to ensure LEP recipients’ needs are met.

Key Requirements

•Fluent in Indonesian and English with strong cultural dynamics.
•Legally authorized to work in the United States; work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship
•High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old
•Ability to read and write Indonesian and English; adaptable to technology enhancements and remote tools
•Dedicated, quiet home work space with a personal device and reliable internet connection (minimum requirements provided)
