Key Responsibilities

  • •Run 1LoD control governance for Global Trade Solutions, including day-to-day control office activities, governance cadence, and reporting to senior management.
  • •Maintain a consolidated view of the control landscape (risks, key controls, testing outcomes, incidents/issues, and remediation plans) and escalate material risks, control weaknesses, and overdue actions.
  • •Coordinate risk and control assessments (e.g., RCA), facilitate validation workshops, and continuously improve control documentation and inherent risk reassessments.
  • •Strengthen control monitoring and testing readiness by tracking testing plans and outcomes, coordinating assurance activities (Internal Audit/Compliance/Operational Risk), and ensuring evidence-based closure.
  • •Manage issue/action trackers, support incident triage and root cause analysis, produce MI/dashboards for control health and remediation progress, and drive thematic insights and stakeholder collaboration to deliver sustainable remediation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • •Solid experience in banking with exposure to business risk and control management, ideally trade finance and/or commercial banking, and a sound understanding of regulatory and internal policies.
  • •Strong risk, compliance and control mindset with high attention to detail and disciplined documentation.
  • •Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and/or project management is an advantage.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge to control owners.
