Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with fieldwork and environmental data collection across project sites in QLD, and occasionally interstate to support the national GRS team.
  • •Support surface water and groundwater monitoring programs.
  • •Contribute to contamination investigations and remediation projects of varying size and complexity.
  • •Collect, handle, and manage environmental samples from a range of media to ensure sample quality.
  • •Prepare and support the development of technical environmental reports and collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Be in your final year or have completed a relevant Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, or Geoscience.
  • •Be able to commence work by February 2027.
  • •Have a driver’s licence, as the role includes traveling to various sites across Queensland and interstate.
  • •Ability to obtain Defence security clearance based on Australian citizenship is preferred.
  • •Flexibility to complete a wide range of site programs with dedication to site safety.
