Key Responsibilities

  • •Tend pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum filters, and other equipment used to decontaminate wastewater (sewage).
  • •Collect wastewater samples and make process reports.
  • •Read charts, flow meters, and gauges to detect equipment malfunctions.
  • •Perform minor repairs on wastewater equipment as needed.
  • •When key personnel are absent, support completion or delegation of required tasks and responsibilities by the supervisor or trained designee.
